In the morning both Karen and Don fixed us breakfast before we suited up and got ready to go.   They did a great job  of showing us a great time, thanks Don and Karen, we enjoyed the visit.  I was going to just take the interstate home but Don suggested we take stay off the interstate and take Lake Mary Road over to Payson and then home.  The weather was threatening rain most of the way and then started to clear up when we got closer to home and then it looked like rain again. And as we were pulling into the garage it sprinkled on us just a little bit.  I’m glad we took Don’s advice, because it was a nice ride.  They are doing some work along some of the road.  Looks like they are clearing out some of the trees so you can see more into the forest.  I like it, you know the old saying “you can’t see the forest for the trees”. Well they are fixing that; it looks like a big project but worth it.  Minnie took some pictures along the way the feature picture is a selfie of us pulling into the garage.

We had a great time on our trip.  It took us 114 days and 13,929 miles to complete.  We replaced one front tire that was worn out, we had two oil changes and we had to have one switch replaced under warranty. The trike ran great and we learned a lot about touring on a motorcycle and we are looking forward to our next trip.  Thanks to all who have been following us on trip.  I will still be posting on the blog but it will be just local trips and things about the trike.
