West Yarmouth, MA
Today’s weather was ideal for a ride on a motorcycle.
We stopped at Newport, RI to look at some historic homes of the rich. We weren’t planning on taking any tours. The tours cost, and they aren’t cheap. We just rode down the street, trying to get a glimpse of the houses. The link has some pictures of what the inside of some of the houses look like. I can’t imagine living in such a big house.
Newport, RI is a tourist town, traffic is heavy, but it keeps moving. There are lots of shops to visit, there is a marina close to the downtown area. Looks like there are lots to do there as we rode through town. You really need to plan on spending some time here to enjoy all that it has to offer. We are just passing through and don’t have the time. But if you want to see how the rich live this is the place to see how they do it.

Where We stopped for the Night
West Yarmouth, MA Howard Johnson. Our room was refurbished not too long ago, we had no complaints about our room. We got this room because of the price. This is a touristy area.
Minnie and I had a kettle of clam chowder, at the Hearth’n Kettle in Yarmouth, MA. The food was very good, but the service really sucked.
